   @resynth1943 Well, start by pushing packages to the system distribution's default package managers, this will also make it easy for free/libre system distributions, since they can't include #NodeJS's #NPM or similar single-language package managers unless:

   a) NPM uses default only repos commited to #GNU #FSDG;

   b) distro modifies NPM to include a repo like (a).

   Also, will restore simpler dependency chains.

     @resynth1943 #GNU #Guix is a similar project, with #NodeJS / #NPM importer built-in, with a community committed to follow the #GNU #FSDG for their official channels/repositories.
