   Tor/VPN are not blocked by default (I am using a VPN right now). The IP you were using may be blocked if it used for other things besides navigating gnusocial.net. In other words, if someone using the same VPN as you, with the same IP, has tried to attack the server, it will be blocked.
   If you want, send me a direct message with the IP so i can confirm this, or check if it is another issue.

     The combo box is just for convenience. Go to messages, write @administrator, the message and that's it.
