      @kurth Nah. It's just how Creative handled their SB16 Windows drivers. I don't believe OPL3 is actually being seriously taken advantage of besides the channels and stereo. But the instruments are pretty nice.

      @dosnostalgic @kurth Wasn't OPL"3" actually just referring to Creative's own clone chip that didn't really add anything per se?

      I'd really love to hear a wavetable synthesis version of this though. I bet something like the MT-32 or SC55 could make it really amazing. They had really good synthy sounds that suit a song like this IMO. (Well, MT-32 isn't actually wavetable, but I dunno what to call it in this respect.)

      @nazokiyoubinbou @kurth No, OPL3 is Yamaha's YMF262, and it's quite an improvement over YM3812 (OPL2) in every area.
