   So, I finally pulled out the Eee PC 900a with an old nightly of #Haiku from storage. Yeah, the screen is buggered, but we'll see if I replace it. For the moment, it's still rather usable in that regard. Going to overwrite this installation with the recently-released R1/beta3 in just a bit, but I'm going to test running updates on this and see what I get. 🍃 #haikuos

     Wow, #WebPositive on #Haiku has improved significantly! Not only does Mastodon work (with some minor glitches) as @tbn97 mentioned some time ago, but even Discord works on it. Of course, it's quite slow given the specs of this 900a, but still a major improvement.

     I tried updating through SoftwareUpdater and using pkgman, but #Haiku was not having it, so I nuked and paved with a fresh R1/beta3. The resolution was finally detected properly (though still no OpenGL 3D), but the trackpad is still detected as a PS/2 mouse. Updating the release to the latest packages as we speak. 🍃🍂 #haikuos
