    @benoit @codewiz You who have lived in Japan, did you see the natives typing in Japanese on a computer keyboard using romaji or kana with the jp IME? From the few videos I've seen, they use romaji. It surprised me because I assumed only foreigners would do that, but apparently it's more convenient.

      @Fabimaru @benoit Yes, they all seem to use romaji to type hiragana.

      I'm not even sure how one would type the missing hiraganas with the JIS keyboard...

      @Fabimaru @benoit I also use mozc (with ibus), and it can type hiragana directly from QWERTY, then select kanji from a list (which doesn't seem as smart as the Android keyboard, but still seems to move recently used kanji up in the list).
