      Under "settings" — "privacy" — "Blocked Users" — "block unknown"

      block users you've never been in contact with and those not saved
      as contacts

      so... it's a whitelist (allowlist, excuse me)

      So #Signal, wouldn't it be better an OPTIONAL allowlist feature, something in user's hands, to avoid spammers than overcomplicating thingies with super anonnimousies pre-fetching pre-scanning whatever your server —the closed part one— will perform?
