     I can guarantee now people on Debian will be pretty confused by the time they jump into Debian 12

     take that as criticism of Debian’s pace, criticism of GNOME’s lack of concern about breaking old design patterns, or people being dumb, but existing + incoming changes pretty much hint at that

     doesn’t seem like GNOME 42 will be what GNOME 40 promised to be (in fact I’m not sure its own vision will be fulfilled so “soon” either), but it’s already becoming a pretty fun release! :blobcatsip:
