     The pronoun is redundant, we get that info from the verb conjugation. We generally don't append "para el almuerzo" (better "para comer"), because we assume that the verb "comer" means lunch in case it's not mentioned otherwise. It would be weird saying «He comido X para comer». We use it for other meals, though. «He comido té con tostadas para desayunar [or "de desayuno]». Also: «He desayunado/cenado/merendado X».

     @Algot As a side note, «Mahonesa» refers to the true origin of the word, «Mahón» (a Balearic city), from where the French copied the recipe...
