Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Sunday, 06-Mar-2022 20:57:19 UTC Bernie This explains why they seemed confused when I came in and said that the Tesla had been towed overnight π

Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Sunday, 06-Mar-2022 21:00:21 UTC Bernie Last night I left the Tesla parked just behind this sign, and in the morning it was gone.
I've already found where it was towed and they said it will cost me $370 π€¬

Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Sunday, 06-Mar-2022 22:56:31 UTC Bernie @yojimbo Yeah, you'd be towed 10 feet... and then get billed $370 π

Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Sunday, 06-Mar-2022 23:17:10 UTC Bernie I paid through a hole in the wall with darkened reinforced glass, and after a while the gate opened... the car was undamaged and so I could return it.
The rental place kindly weaved the late return fees... they knew I already had enough of a bad weekend π

Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Tuesday, 08-Mar-2022 04:45:28 UTC Bernie @benoit I parked under this sign, but I was at 90 degrees from it... and it was already surrounded by cars so I thought it was the safest spot!

Bernie (codewiz@mstdn.io)'s status on Tuesday, 15-Mar-2022 04:18:08 UTC Bernie And another one... These "muscle cars" are just big engines for drivers with small brains who wouldn't even take the time to learn the stick shift.
Bah. Today's electric cars easily outperform these fossils in everything other than noise and emissions. Rooooar! π¦
