I searched for "affinity designer alternatives", and I got Inkscape - would that be something that you would like?
Otherwhise, would it be possible to have a separate machine to do that stuff on? -

Now I am just doing nothing that interests me and I am rotting here

Before all this privacy and linux shit I was bit happier. I was doing graphic design which I enjoyed a lot. I wanted to learn CAD stuff since I am studying manufacturing stuff... Now I am on the "better" side of tech, depressed and limited.
Maybe it is not because of my technological choices, maybe I am just in decline...
