@ChrisR3tro Some say that the thing that killed the email, is the spam. There are lots of instances of shitpost, block them, if you are admin, i got a list of them

ChrisRƎTRO (chrisr3tro@cybre.space)'s status on Thursday, 17-Mar-2022 13:31:57 UTC ChrisRƎTRO This is ridiculous. Been using #Mastodon for a while now alongside Twitter, just out of curiousity, and this is what I came to realize:
While I really like the idea of a #federated timeline, in its current state, it is overrun by #bots, that #spam random stuff or pics of all arbitrary things, I'm absolutely NOT interested in.
It's basically unusable to connect with real people. Instead, hourly pics of animals, plushies, even computer-generated noise, ironically, and other arbitrary things are thrown at me, which I couldn't care less about. If I wanted that content, I could just go search for it. Even now, after blocking botsin.space, it's still the same. What a total joke. If you ask me, some kind of basic spam protection that goes beyond blocking domains or single accounts is needed. End #rant
