sohkamyungDelighted to encounter this Mangrove Pitta (Pitta megarhyncha) at Tampines Eco Green, Singapore, on 16 April 2022. It was foraging on the open ground just metres from where I stood, giving me a good view of it.
The Mangrove Pitta is considered Near Threatened and usually forages in mangrove areas, like the nearby Pasir Ris Park mangrove.
