     @twizzay This is a post in my blog about dvorak https://blog.undernet.uy/2019/05/20/el-teclado-dvorak/ for me is just one way trip. You can check the references in the article and look for the Keyboard Layout Analyzer and test which layout fit best with texts of your own production. Many programmers use the programmer-dvorak that has inverted the number/symbol row. The article is in spanish, maybe you can translate it.

     Im not going to lie. I kinda want to try this big time, but I don’t know if I can handle the learning curve of a whole new thing. lol

     I’m right-handed. Do you think I should try the right-handed version, or the standard?

     @twizzay it is not easy, you need to do a full rewiring of your brain, that tokes a few months depending on the volume of typing you do everyday. It is actually good for you, it helps you to prevent Alzheimer's disease, it is a good exercise for the brain.

     I made the switch.

     this is the first sentence I typed out and it is taking forever lol…

     I can already say there are so many things I like about this though.

     now i just need to ensure that i can find replacement keycaps before i get to invested.

     @santiago tbh i kind of hate the qwerty layout, so this is not a hard sell for me. I have no problem waiting through the learning curve.

     or preventing Alzheimers disease. :ms_laughing:

     @twizzay You'll notice that after a while on dvorak and grabbing a qwerty again, then you'll understand how nasty and inefficient qwerty actually is. You won't believe it.
