     So I told a nearby CMDR to come down to analyze it with me.

     This is my first on-foot encounter with another player, and I'm glad it didn't involve shotguns. #EliteDangerous Odyssey can also be about exploration.

     It blew me up at high speed! 😲

     On this low-gravity moon, I almost reached escape velocity...

     ...but what an amazing view! 🤩

     Yeah, I can see this from my ship, but being up there without a canopy in between you and the vacuum of space is a very different feeling.

     And I start going down... at first very slowly, then dangerously fast. My exobiology suit has thrusters, but they're weak and unable to reduce my speed.

     I ended up splatted on the surface, several kilometers away from the geyser. CMDR Jason B had a good laugh at my tragicomic performance! 😂

     Had I survived the fall, I would have probably died when the suit batteries ran out of power. It would have taken hours to walk back to my ship.

     However, CMDR Jason B could have come rescue me in his Asp Explorer, which has with a co-pilot seat.

     I guess this is a reminder to all CMDRs: it is dangerous to go alone! Always explore new worlds with a buddy! 😉

     How's your ship's jump range? I rigged mine for exploration and now it's over 40 light years per jump.
