   @ghose @silkevicious Better still: install the LibRedirect addon and set it as the default search engine. Then you can set anything you want over there, different instances or a fixed one, auto-redirect if instance is down, different frontends, protocols... Best choice imo.

     @silkevicious thanks! never heard of whoogle.

     I'm well served with some searx instances, startpage, ddg,... all giving me fairly good/relevant results, but I wanted to know about StartPage.

     @ghose may i suggest you farside.link/whoogle ?
     It bounces between various whoogle instances, which is a frontend of google just like invidious.
     Not sure if i understood all correctly your pregunta 😁

     Cuál era el problema con StartPage? el buscador.

     Porque me funciona bastante decentemente, pero no recuerdo si me espiaba o no, si me vendía, si me creaba una burbuja pequeñita, etc. etc.

     Lo pregunto en serio, no me acuerdo, y como lo llevo usando unas semanas pues antes de cogerle cariño pues cada uno por su lado y yastá.

     Alguna instancia de Searx o el DDG también me van bien, pero DDG me da algo de yuyu. No sé por que dejé de usar el Searx 🤔 ...habiendo tantos.
