I don't think Calpis is very common nowadays, and neither is Ramune.
The most common drinks I saw in jihanki were various brands of green tea and canned coffee. And I remember seeing Pocari Sweat a lot in the summer.

@benoit @codewiz @globalc Dear Japan experts, do people drink Calpis there, or is it out-fashioned? From what I can remember, I don't think I saw it much in the vending machines during my various holidays.
