Did I waste 3h to try compile a htop binary compatible with Android ABI? Yes.
I will write a blog post.
Also playing MP3 with Bluetooth consume around 20% CPU :o

@benoit Swap? There should be no swap on Android or any other Linux system that needs a responsive UI at all times.
I wonder how much pressure Android do on the swap...
@codewiz top and htop are detecting a 2GB swap. I am trying to check what kind of swap is it. Maybe zram.
@benoit Ah yes. The Pixel 6a has only 4GB of RAM?
@benoit That's where I looked, but I took the used memory for the total.
@codewiz 6G look at my htop :p
@benoit Using 20% cpu time to stream mp3 might actually be fine if the cpu is kept at the lowest clock speed to save power.
@benoit Hooking up a USB-C cable and running htop might affect power management, btw...
@codewiz Ok it scaled to 1GHz. Should be better. Amusing how the scheduler keep changing the clock... Way more than any laptop or desktop. Well it's a smartphone after all :D
@codewiz 1400MHz.
@codewiz Ah right did not check the clock speed. If it's 20% of 5005MHz, that's fine indeed.
@benoit How's the battery life on the Pixel 6a these days?
Older #Pixel phones were horrible with the default settings: always on screen, assistant listening for "Ok Google", counting steps for Google Fit...
