   On my laptop, where I run #KDE Plasma and #Wayland, when I wake it up, it first appears unlocked and I can view everything that was on my screen before it went to sleep. A couple seconds later, and the screen will actually lock.

   What if I had some private messages open or something and someone else opened the laptop lid?

   It didn't used to act this way. 😦

     @greypilgrim Which KDE Plasma version are you running, and on which distro?

     I'm using Plasma 5.25.4 on Fedora 36 with the Wayland, and I don't have this bug. I remember seeing something like this over 1 year ago.

     @greypilgrim I also have a desktop with Arch and an AMD GPU, but still no such bug, but apparently it's still present on X11:

     Are you sure you're using Wayland?
