     @gbraad To be fair, I think Explorer is a good file manager. It was quite bad around the time of Windows 95, when they did the stupid HTML Active Desktop thing 🤮

     Can't even find a screenshot of it...

     @codewiz yes it is. It replaces the original explorer.exe, and uses a similar unified view. However in recent years MS has adopted or copied a lot of features, so less relevant. But for me, to perform remote connections easily is already a big win (ssh, ftp)
