   My friends' daughter is going to cram school (塾, "juku") at 6:30pm until 8pm 3 times a week.

   She arrived early and the teacher let me come in and take this picture. So cute! 😄

     I knew about juku from #anime, where typically the protagonist likes a neighbor student, but they're too shy to ask their name 😆

     @benoit I've seen similar classrooms in public schools. Everything is impeccably clean and maintained, but very old.

     @tagomago @benoit Yeah, I think it's fine, except perhaps they didn't embrace computers in education.

     @tagomago @benoit Yeah, I think it's fine for desks to be old. Though perhaps they could spend the money they saved to incorporate computers in education? 😄
