    1. FREIGHT 'LOVE NO MORE' 1978
In 1978, the Fox River Valley of northeastern Wisconsin was the home of an excellent four-piece rock n' roll band by the name of 'Freight.' The original members of this high-powered group were Randy Stenson, Mark Redlin, Pete Felker and Bill Waters. In the spring of 1977, with the departure of Bill Waters who went on to other band projects, the group was joined by Jon Galfano as the fourth member. The year 1978 was quite memorable for the band with their live performances as the opening act for rock superstars 'Foghat' ('Fool For The City' / 'Slow Ride')) in February at the Brown County Arena in Green Bay, WI, followed later in August of that year, once again at the Brown County Arena in Green Bay adjacent to Lambeau Field, home of the Packers, as the opening act for the superstar band 'Styx' from Chicago. Also, in February of 1978, the band was in the recording studio where they produced two original songs titled 'Love No More' and 'What Kind of Love' penned by guitarist Jon Galfano. Assisting in the vocals was Marty Wiedmeyer (Mort) and in the production was Jeff Fogle, the band's audio engineer. A big shoutout also goes to the road crew of Al and Minky (Dan Schaefer) and the other hardworking members that contributed to Freight's success.
