   Currently running my federate.social instance under the $8 month threshold (incl. domain reg.) It's been so fun and really improves your experience. It only takes a few clicks to get it running after you secure a domain. The more folks setup these small instances, the more it takes the load off of the big servers. They really act as landing pads for folks to get oriented but best to jump to a new instance when you're ready. https://masto.host/pricing/

     As the #birdsite implodes I can feel the #fedigrowth on my #StarterInstance getting pummeled. The question is not if I will need to upgrade to the next tier, but when. #FediAdmin
