The antiauthoritarian feminist uprisings continue into the night. Here an example from Merîwan/Marivan of Rojhelat/NW Iran.

If anyone wonders why burning rubber tires is so common at hmm, fervent protests, there are many reasons for example that the smoke has particularly large and many soot particles in them which assists in some protection against tear gas and similar by binding the capsicum/equivalent irritant compound to the particles in the smoke before it reaches the humans.
You can test this at home by first finding a setting for your hot tap water where it just barely is accompanied by some steam (or equivalent on a stove if that's not possible), then causing just a tiny bit of (for example paper/wooden match) smoke and noticing that the same amount of common steam too drastically increases in visibility, as the water molecules of the steam bind to the previously invisible smoke particles making the combination larger, more visible. This smoke has lighter particles, so doesn't neutralize as well as rubber smoke, but the first step principle is the same.

It of course also provides some visual cover and may at least somewhat obstruct some of the vehicles of the repression forces which would presumably want to assault the protesters.

Revolutionary (adjective): of, relating to, or constituting a revolution.
For example, see Isfahan, central Iran, today:

And mass-protest today also at the traditional 40th days since death commemoration for Amir Norouzi, aged 18 when murdered by the State's forces for demanding freedom, in Bandar-e Anzali, north coat Iran.
