Why are people so worried about #climate change in the #Arctic? This figure tells it all: over the past 50 years, the region has warmed by 3.1 °C. That’s three times as fast as the rest of the world! Locally, warming has been particularly extreme in the Barents Sea, where it peaks at 7.5 °C. 😱 #ClimateChange #GlobalWarming
