!pleroma Updated the hash-routed build of Pleroma FE, plenty of cool features added since the previous build:
- There's a user finder to help add remote users that your instance doesn't know about yet, it's located next to the cog wheel on top and it takes the URL of a remote user, such as https://social.heldscal.la/shp
- Notifications have been visually cleaned up, and mentions can be interacted with directly from the notification.
- The layout of statuses has been altered a bit to make it hopefully more pleasant to use and look at, especially on mobile.
- Text input for posting statuses resizes automatically with your text instead of needing a scroll wheel, and also takes less space when empty and not focused.
- There's now 'infinite scrolling' or in other words automatic fetching of older statuses as you're close enough to the bottom. This can be disabled via settings.
- Repeats on the timeline now contain a link to the profile of the repeater, as well as showing their avatar over the avatar of the repeated user.
- Time stamps are now shorter, for example "15s" instead of "15 seconds ago"

So pleroma actually federates now in a basic way... Lots of bugfixing from now on, but the first 90% are done, now it's time for the second 90% :) we should have a viable new ostatus server in the near future! !pleroma -

- implemented crytpo key generation, salmon signing for outgoing Salmon's
- implemented half of what's needed for incoming push subscriptions.
- @dtluna implemented direct messages via the twitter api. -

Hey !pleroma users, I opened up registration at https://pleroma.soykaf.com/registration, my full stack pleroma test instance. If you want to play with a bit, feel free to make an account.
THIS IS ALPHA QUALITY SOFTWARE. THERE IS NO FEDERATION YET. THE DATA COULD BE DELETED AT ANY TIME.
That being said, if you registered and posted around a bit, that would help me get some real world usage data.
You can also use it in Twidere / Twittnuker with the same settings as GS. -

Some !pleroma news, we're going to do a release later today, which will (at least) include speed fixes, word filter based notice muting (e.g. filtering 'mastodon' to stop all the meta talk) and visual fixes for attachments. -
