    @webmink I'm not sure if actual staff from @FSF or the Conservancy are in the !Fediverse, but many people have joined the !FS !FreeSoftware, !OpenHardware, !FreeCulture and similar groups.     Sadly, tying medical equipment to non-free software is all too common. You're right, it's a huge privacy violation, and the End-User-Licence-Agreement allowing them to insert ads in your readouts just makes it worse. Do they make you sign up for an Outlook or Facebook account to keep up-to-date? I hope not. We need more !OpenHardware that runs !FreeSoftware.
