Is there an #ActivityPub server where I need to parse HTML for <link type="application/activity+json" href="..."/> to get to the JSON representation of an object? I want to add support for this in #Smithereen but I need something to test against.

Porque el Fediverso, por su naturaleza, es una plétora de plataformas alternativas, descentralizadas, autónomas y FLOSS, con una ética antagónica a la de Zuckerberg. Threads es una red corporativa de Meta y no encaja en el Fediverso, aunque se conecte a él. Es como un fan del reguetón en un concierto punk porque le regalaron una entrada.

The blogging platform #Ghost is working on adding #ActivityPub integration. That means, among other things, being able to follow Ghost-powered blogs and comment on articles right from your Mastodon account. The website they made to explain their plans is really nice! This is what momentum looks like.

Besides fermenting vegetables, I've been working on adding #ActivityPub support to @sutty through #DistributedPress these past weeks. We ended up with a caching plugin for httparty and a #ruby API client for DistributedPress. This client can also pull and dereference activities from remote instances using HTTP signatures, so it could double as an AP client too.

So when a website managed with Sutty gets a comment/follow/like activity, you get a moderation queue where you can decide what to do with it.

We're also hosting workshops with collectives so we implement features that are useful to all :D
