Alguien que use #ChatSecure o #Conversations, ¿sabe si hay alguna opción para que la app no se cierre? Al parecer cuando llevan un rato inactivas iOS y Android fuerzan el cierre de estas apps, hasta que el usuario vuelve a abrirlas. O eso me comentan.
Mal diseño, porque de este modo hay mensajes que llegan pero se quedan sin notificar (hasta que al usuario no se le ocurre abrir la app). Y esto sí que lo sufro yo como remitente de mensajes...

@feld @skynebula @GeoffreyDorne I do agree with the need to integrate the XEPs, this is why I pointed out to the XEP mentioned by JMP. Although that edition doesn't cover voice/video calls yet (probably because these are entirely clients dependent, not server-based). My worry is that most #XMPP clients, at least mobile, aren't under auto-upgradable strong #copyleft license (bad example: #Conversations), those that are do need contributions ( #Beam)

#Jabber, que es software libre. En el móvil a través de #Conversations (Android) y #Chatsecure (iOS) funciona muy cómodamente. Y tb cuenta con varios clientes multiplataforma: Pidgin, Gajim.
Si acabas por cifrar las conversaciones con OMEMO, mucho mejor

Pasei por #transifex para ver si había proxectos que tiña que actualizar.
Había algo en #Briar e un par de cadeas de #Conversations. Non sei por que non recibo notificacións de actualizacións de algúns proxectos que usan #weblate :(
#riotApp non informa, #mastodon si. Algúns en #crowdin si, outros non. Total, que teño que ir mirando un a un.
Vou actualizar #riot e darlle un empurronciño a #peertube ao #galego na próxima media hora :D

Para usar #xmpp puedes probar primero en el móvil, con #Conversations https://f-droid.org/packages/eu.siacs.conversations/
Lo digo xq al ser una interfaz tipo #telegram o wasap (que ya conoces), quizás sea más intuitivo para ti para comunicarte con alguien o entrar en una sala.
He probado y los enlaces a salas que te dan funcionan bien (pude entrar) así que no dudes en preguntar y lo conseguirás ;)
