    We had to put some restrictions on our mail service, due to spam activity, where people used #disroot accounts to send spam. Those restrictions (still fine-tuning so more info will follow) apply to bulk email sending in short periods of time.
    We've conducted an investigation in the last days to find and block the spammers, and whitelist people sending legit bulk emails.
    As a part of our transparency policy, we have also informed those legit users that we've been reviewing their activity.

    Dear disrooters,

    We seem to be having some issues with webmail where connection to the mail server sometimes drops. This results in people not being able to read/list their emails or being asked twice for their password.

    We think we resolved the issue, but if you notice being disconnected form webmail, please let us know.

    Our matrix server went offline after a huge spike in memory usage occurred. This seem to affect more servers in the matrix network and the origins of that aren't clear yet. We've restarted the server this morning, and at this moment our server is catching up with the network. We will monitor the situation and see whether it was a single incident or something of a re-occurring nature.

    @rafapoverello Esto es como todo en la vida, según que proyecto u objetivo se busque, pondré de ejemplo cierto servidor de correo que desde el principio tuvo Twitter pero nunca tuvo cuenta en ninguna red social libre, convengamos en que decían que querían promover servicios respetuosos con la privacidad y el SL, querían ser conocidos y que mas gente usara sus servicios, pero a mi siempre me choco y me pareció mal que solo usaran Twitter, si #Disroot decidiera abrir una cuenta de Twitter para atraer mas usuarios y promover el SL y el respeto a la privacidad no me parecería mal, ya tienen cuenta en una red social libre (Mastodon) con la cual puedo interactuar sin salirme de mi filosofía de SL y servicios respetuosos con la privacidad.

    For all those that missed the announcement this morning.

    Due to fuckup in configuration files, our mailserver was rejecting pretty much all incomming emails on 22nd August between 1:00 - 9:30 Amsterdam Local Time).

    We are ashamed of this fuckup and we promise to not let it happend ever again.

    Due to number of bugs and very small interest in the webchat app in the #nextcloud, We’ve made the decision to switch it off. If you are one of the few people using xmpp via web we advice you to use one of the native applications for your system. We are not disabling #xmpp server!

    Que majos estos de #Disroot, me acaban de mandar un correo (y otro respondiéndome a mi respuesta, ¡enseguida!) preguntándome si sigo con problemas al ver que aun tienen pendientes la solución de mis problemas con el correo entrante, me ha comentado un poco la cosa de como va el tema, va a probar varias cosas y en unos días me preguntara otra vez que tal me va, que diferencia con #openmailbox ^^
