My partner was reported for breaching "community standards" with this #facebook comment regarding the atrocity committed against Eurydice Dixon.

A subsequent post about this #censorship resulted in a 24h ban.

This is the same thing PoC point out about white supremacist attacks on anti-racist dialogue.

How did we reach this point, where the majority of people are beholden to an oppressive, white-cismale domainated corporation for their news and speech?

There are two spots where #Google, #Amazon, #Facebook, #Apple, #Microsoft (and others) are most vulnerable. You have to attack them where it hurts them the most.

1) Is their public image. Make them look as shitty as possible, they deserve it. Ideally, make them *deny* things that make them look good. This is the high art of pissing someone off. Claim publicly that Google is stopping AI research or whatever. You will win.

2) Don't use their services. Seriously. Stop. Stop. STOP. Delete. Forget.

After the Cambridge Analytica controversy, the number of users on the Diaspora* network almost doubled. 2 months later, most of the new users have left.
