La semana que viene me va a llegar una calculadora científica que siempre quise tener y que pude conseguir muy barata en eBay. Es la Texas Instruments Voyage 200, una versión mejorada de la TI-92 Plus. Corre una versión recortada del software Derive para cálculo diferencial e integral, y se pueden escribir programas en el lenguaje TI-Basic para graficar cosas, resolver ecuaciones, etc. Fue la mejor calculadora en su momento por su potencia de cálculo y herramientas aunque la más famosa fue el modelo anterior y más voluminosa, TI-92 Plus. Ambas tienen la misma pantalla y procesador (Motorola MC68000 de 12MHz) y 188kB de RAM y la Voyage 200 cuenta con 2.7 MB de almacenamiento para el usuario, programas y sesiones. La serie TI-92 y Voyage 200 tienen un teclado QWERTY pero el firmware también está presente en las TI-84 y TI-89 con un formato de calculadora clásica. Hay/hubo toda una comunidad de programadores que portearon versiones del Tetris, Mario y hasta el Doom que se pueden jugar en su display de matriz de punto de 240x128. El firmware se puede actualizar desde una PC con un cable, y cargarle programas adicionales. Una verdadera belleza

  The TI-92 series of graphing calculators are a line of calculators produced by Texas Instruments. They include: the TI-92 (1995), the TI-92 II (1996), the TI-92 Plus (1998, 1999) and the Voyage 200 (2002). The design of these relatively large calculators includes a QWERTY keyboard. Because of this keyboard, it was given the status of a "computer" rather than "calculator" by American testing facilities and cannot be used on tests such as the SAT or AP Exams while the similar TI-89 can be. TI-92 The TI-92 was originally released in 1995, and was the first symbolic calculator made by Texas Instruments. It came with a computer algebra system (CAS) based on Derive, geometry based on Cabri II, and was one of the first calculators to offer 3D graphing. The TI-92 was not allowed on most standardized tests due mostly to its QWERTY keyboard. Its larger size was also rather cumbersome compared to other graphing calculators. Kevo días que la maquina me falla y tengo de reiniciarl, etc.. ya ni se que s lo que le falla, en cuanto ùeda le meto otra distro, ya estoy cansado, a ver si me corre sin clavarse el puntero, es que no se si el error viene del #hardware o del #software.
Le instalare otro software y si sigue fallando me ire a por el hardware.

Ich bin ein absoluter #Hardware und #CPU #Noob, deshalb diese Frage an euch Wissenden:
Ich weiß das die #RiscV Architektur grundsätzlich anders ist als die #i386 oder #ARM Chips und obendrein auch noch #OpenSource ist.
Nun zur #Frage: Wird es in #Zukunft darauf basierende weit verbreitete #Customer #PC so wie #Mobile Geräte geben oder ist dies bloß ein frommer Wunsch. Hat diese Architektur auch weitere #Vorteile als #frei von Patenten zu sein?

La criptomoneda Chia está en en auge, ya que a diferencia del resto de criptomonedas, no se «mina» sino que se «cultiva» utilizando la velocidad y capacidad de los dispositivos de almacenamiento en lugar de la potencia de la GPU. Si quieres probar suerte e iniciarte en esto de minar Chia con un PC, en este artículo te vamos a recomendar cuál sería el hardware más óptimo para sacar la mayor rentabilidad.

Hemos de comenzar con una advertencia: no te recomendamos bajo ningún concepto que realices la minería de Chia o cualquier otra criptomoneda con el PC. Es un proceso que somete a los componentes de hardware a un máximo estrés, reduciendo notablemente su durabilidad y vida útil, y además se consumen grandes cantidades de energía. @meiotexto ocorre que como o #JavaScript / #JS é uma linguagem de "alto nível" (simplificada para propósito específico: ser carregada na #Web / #Internet e não se comunicando diretamente com o #Hardware ) e interpretada (toda vez que quer usar, tem que ler tudo, adicionando lentidão), as condicionais simples são mais rápidas se usar "( ? : )" (4 caracteres/bytes, sem espaço) em vez de "if ( ) { } else { }" (que tem 12).
