    Tonight I'll find a replacement for Instagram, I want to use my website as my central hub for all the images I post.
    I do use wordpress - so I'm sure I'll find a solution. The only thing I'll miss is instagram's editing features - they are good.
    And uploading directly from the app is something I'll also miss.
    I'll edit the images on my computer instead before uploading them to the gallery on my website.
    I did run a #mediagoblin instance before, but I think now I'll settle with a wordpress gallery instead.

    @maiyannah @rysiek Honestly, Pump itself is a garbage prototype running on hyped technologies (Node + MongoDB). It has been unmaintained for years, and the few contributions it does get are incredibly infrequent. The app is just plain bad all around.

    The real value of the thing is ActivityPub, which I have yet to see implemented in the wider fediverse. I'm still waiting to see what comes out of cwebber's involvement with W3C SocialWG and #Mediagoblin.

    @onigafuchi discrepo. :) Si algo es malo no debes usarlo porque es malo, no porque no tengas alternativa, porque a lo mejor no la tienes porque nadie bueno quiere hacer cosas malas. ;)

    Si te censuran determinadas cosas ya te puedes ir haciendo una idea de a quién estás haciendo rico con tus "necesidades" (inducidas), y de hecho, esas censuras no son ni de lejos lo peor que tienen los servicios privativos que te están usando para monitorizarte y espiarte a ti y a los contactos a los que delatas incitándoles a que vayan a ver tus fotos.

    Internet está lleno de opciones para #compartir tus fotos, puedes hacerlo aquí mismo en !gnusocial, en un blog, puedes montarte una galería con #MediaGoblin o #Coppermine, puedes abrir salas públicas o privadas !xmpp... Pero esa gente está pidiendo una aplicación para hacerse famosa con sus fotos. Y no hay muchos desarrolladores de !softwarelibre ni administradores de servicios libres preocupados por invertir su tiempo en eso. :)
