    Buenas, ¿alguien ha conseguido configurar gajim para audio/video?

    Se supone que tienes que instalar gstreamer-plugins-bad and python-farstream pero ni por esas

    No puedo habilitarlo en la configuración

    Con cuentas de suchat he conseguido llamadas de voz en Linphone, pero sin vídeo.

    Las combinaciones de clientes de #tox / sistemas operativos disponibles no me han ido bien.

    La videoconferencia del !nextcloud de @disroot medio funciona, aunque con algunas cosillas sobre todo desde el móvil (con Firefox)

    Se siguen admitiendo sugerencias. :)

    You know what would be awesome?

    A #decentralized #selfhosted #federated #identity #server that doesn't require a degree from MIT to install & configure which works with a wide variety of other #selfhosted software. And while we're at it - throw in #Libravatar as well.

    Right now, I have a #ring id, a #PGP key, a cloud id (#nextcloud) a mastodon id, a #Matrix id and email - all different.
    It's a mess. I really just want to be "Falgn0n" everywhere - y'know?

    Due to number of bugs and very small interest in the webchat app in the #nextcloud, We’ve made the decision to switch it off. If you are one of the few people using xmpp via web we advice you to use one of the native applications for your system. We are not disabling #xmpp server!

    @milan @sen Ah okay, no SimpleNote is a real not eapplication. Using #NextCloud you can actuially have the same in a private fashion. With GNOME integration.

    @manuel Seguí intentándolo muchísimas veces porque me apetecía esa opción -a pesar de que, como es natural, había un límite de subida a la nube que desconocía cuál era y lo mismo con el tiempo hubiese tenido que buscar otra alternativa-, pero me resultó imposible conectarla con el ordenador. Mis limitaciones son grandes en este terreno y llega un punto en que acabo con la mente totalmente bloqueada. Ensayo error ensayo error ensayo error. Si no he sido capaz ni de instalar directamente #Nextcloud :-/ .

    @spectrumgirl Estuve haciendo pruebas también con #Nextcloud, pero los manuales y todas las páginas de instalación estaban en inglés o con una traducción un tanto 'regulera', por ser fino. Como migrar parece ser mucho más fácil y hay bastantes páginas en castellano, cuando me relaje vuelvo a la nube y ya veo lo que hago :-) .

    @mray I only used git for SVGs and code-related pixel graphic files. Everything else is sorted into #Nextcloud synced files.
    I know git rudimentary but it doesn't fit my workflow either.

En el artículo de hoy hablaremos de cómo asegurarlo y los primeros pasos de su uso. Entre otras cosas veremos cómo añadirle seguridad SSL utilizando el protocolo HTTPS sirviéndonos de los certificados de la iniciativa Let’s Encrypt.
