    La verdad muy chulo. Aunque me desalienta que haga mención a que es código #opaco y no #softwarelibre lo que usan las #GAFAMt (incluyo a #twitter) pero luego no haga ninguna mención por ejemplo a #Peertube o #Mastodon . Parece mas que va en plan: todo o nada

    Maybe #peertube needs some kind of republish feature that acts like a retoot. All these mirrors of the same video aren't really necessary and they diminish the interactions with the original.

    @dsteve @Vortax no, no obtienes un dato de un cliente, sino de un pool de otros nodos.

    Por ej: Un archivo de 10MB esta dividido en 5.000 partes (o mas) y cada parte esta guardado en 10 o 100 nodos... asi que cuando tu pides ese archivo recibiras la respuesta de 50, 100 o 500 otros nodos. De manera aleatoria.

    Ademas, a diferencia de #peertube, si se intenta subir el mismo archivo varias veces, Freenet solo dejara una sola copia (optimizacion del espacio disponible).

    Por ejemplo, encontré que "boost" estaba siendo traducido como "impulso/impulsar" en lugar de "retoot/retootear".

    Mi recomendación fue volver a traducirlo como retoot, ya que así se tradujo anteriormente varias veces.

    Sin embargo, conforme el fediverso se expande más allá de #Mastodon (#Pleroma, #Peertube, #Pixelfed...), la palabra "retoot" cada vez representa menos su significado original.

    ¿Qué pensáis vosotros? ¿Necesitamos encontrar una nueva traducción para "boost"? #Ayuda

    1. Revisa si el video en cuestion se encuentra en la red #peertube

    2. Tambien puedes probar con #dtube #bitchute #vidlii o #bittube

    3. Y por ultimo, si solo se encuentra en el puto #fckYoutube, aun asi puedes usar el #proxy #invidious

    @fanta así que https://fi.invidious.snopyta.org/ como mucho y si no, pasamos de Youtube. :)

    Tengo pendiente darle un tiempo a #peertube pero eso sería más que nada para contenidos generados propios o cercanos.

    En realidad lo que me interesaba es porque a veces tienes que mirar algo que solo está en Youtube y no es tan prescindible como la mayoría de contenidos.
