    I've decided to delete pixelfed.nl. I will probably reinstall it on a subdomain in the near future, but it's not my future main project I had in mind.

    The reason is that it just takes to long that #Pixelfed is ready for production. I'm still waiting for Pixelfed-to-Pixelfed-federation. In my opinion a #1 priority. Also other things are still not ready yet (like fullscreen images and deleting accounts). Of course I can wait longer for all this, but 6 months ago I already was at this point. So it's over. I have no patience anymore. It also costs me money and before I can ask for donations the service needs more people, but I only want to open registrations when Pixelfed-to-Pixelfed-federation is ready (the chicken and the egg).

    - Remote posts will allow up to 2200 characters.

    - You can follow up to 7500 accounts in total (there is no limit for how many followers you can have)

    - You can can follow 20 accounts per hour

    - Comments can only contain 5 mentions and 30 hashtags and we will stop auto-linking URLs

    - Duplicate comments (including emoji) will be rejected

    - We are still deciding on limits for Likes, Shares and Posts

    - Remote comments and posts that contain more than 5 mentions will hide all mentions behind a modal pop-up
