estoy bien con #tusky pero ver información multiplicada me hace pensar que se me fue la navegación para atrás y a veces veo gente hablar de cosas que no tienen contexto hasta que me doy cuenta que le faltan partes a la conversación

✅ Tusky 25.0 is officialy out, in F-Droid and Play Store 🎉 🎉 🎉

These are the main updates to this new version:

➡️ Support Mastodon translation API
➡️ Show post language
➡️ Improved screen transitions
➡️ Filter settings now moved to account preferences
➡️ Post stats now have a stable position
➡️ A lot off under-the-hood stability & performance improvements.

This week we had the regular #Tusky Team meeting, and among a lot of good news (new team members, new release coming soon, huge refactorings being done) we also found some areas where we could need some help ->

The #Tusky team has lost a few contributors this year for various reasons, and we need your help building a kick-ass Mastodon app!

While we would also appreciate more technical contributors, we are specifically looking for:
- a person who can manage or help with our social account
- a project manager who can help us draft a Code of Conduct

I am stepping back from the #Tusky project with immediate effect.

I discovered severe lapses in how the Tusky project's donations (received via #OpenCollective) were being handled. When I reported those to the project's private "Tusky Contributors" Matrix channel the financial admins tone policed the feedback, refused to engage with the concerns I and others raised, and demanded the discussion be stopped.

A esto es lo que me refiero, hay muchos Toots en otros idiomas, no se como activar el traductor en #Tusky y no quiero instalar mas aplicaciones.

If you have #dyslexia , do alternative fonts in apps help with the reading experience?

If yes, are Atkinson Hyperlegible or OpenDyslexic useful fonts to use with #Tusky? Are there others (that are freely redistributable).

#Tusky 23.0 has just been released.

This is primarily a bug fix release after 22.0, although you will also notice a new preference to adjust text size across the user interface.

@coloco @Tusky A mi me está costando el entender cómo explorar el contenido de mastodon dentro de #Tusky. En la web existe esa pestaña de explorar donde se pueden ver diversas publicaciones pero en la app la pestaña explorar me muestra el contenido con la etiqueta #explorar. También me gustaría poder buscar contenido por palabras y no por # pero no termino de entender cómo se puede. Siento ser tan novato :(

Recomiendo aplicación de terceros Mastodon @Tusky para Android:
Tiene un montón de características adicionales, tales como borradores de posts, programación de posts, líneas de tiempo personalizadas, etc.
Espero que este resumen sea correcto, pero si detectas algún error, házmelo saber.
En general, es una aplicación muy sólida llena de características y una interfaz fácil de usar, cualquier persona con un dispositivo Android debe probarlo.

#Tusky v22 has been released!

Changes in this release include:

✅ View trending hashtags from the side menu, or as a tab
✅ Edit image descriptions and focus points after posting
✅ Better ordering of languages when writing a post
✅ Mastodon v4 filters
✅ Show the differences between different versions of edited posts
✅ Accessibility improvements

#Tusky 22.0 beta 3 is out.

- Fixed crash when viewing a thread
- Fixed crash processing Mastodon filters
- Links in bios of follow/follow request notifications are clickable
- Android notification for a Mastodon notification should only be shown once
- Android notifications are grouped by Mastodon notification type (follow, mention, boost, etc)
- Potential for missing notifications has been removed
