I like the term "Fediverse", because it's a portmanteau of "federation", "universe" and "diverse", and I think that describes it quite accurately ☺️

Cyberpunk 2077's save file size is capped at 8MB. If you collect lots of items, you will exceed that size and your save game will get corrupted.

Here's a short story:

A certain member of my local hackerspace runs a web-service that returns racist content and nazi-symbolism.

Member gets evicted from the hackerspace and his membership cancelled by democratic vote.

Member sues the hackerspace for public defamation.

Hackerspace is running break-even and can barely afford attorneys and legal advice.

I really, really need to contain myself at this point, but someone truly deserves a can of whoop-ass.

The freedom open-source software gives you may be priceless, but that doesn't mean you can't support developers nor should you take their work for granted.

Support your favorite open-source projects and their developers! Give them a chance to become self-sustainable! Lots of small contributions can make all the difference!

Do it, become part of the greater common good. It's not everyday you get to participate in a revolution! 😄

If you see an open-source project that has support for Twitter (in one way or another, could even be just linking to Twitter profiles in a website theme) but not Mastodon, go file an issue and ask kindly for it to support Mastodon, too.
