Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Thursday, 27-Dec-2018 05:27:48 UTC Lollipop Cloud @pixelfed has a Dockerfile for php-fpm
We built it today without any failures. We didn't test deploy but overall it did build π
We aren't going to be publishing anything until after account delete is situated in upstream.
The initial signs are very positive. -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Thursday, 13-Dec-2018 07:16:06 UTC Lollipop Cloud π£ YAY π£
We successfully built Plume on arm64v8 and were able to get basic tests complete today.
We'll be pushing the Docker containers to our registry shortly.
We don't have any docs or useful info just yet.
It takes us awhile to ensure our docs are accessible and this was the first major step towards ensuring others can self-host Plume easily and with minimal effort.
We will keep you updated as we make progress. -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Sunday, 09-Dec-2018 18:20:57 UTC Lollipop Cloud π€
Our build scrips are having trouble with the 'latest' tag in Docker that's being created after the builds run.
That's going to be problematic for builds that aren't officially released and/or don't have tags for releases (upstreams use master and rolling release cycles sometimes). -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Sunday, 09-Dec-2018 05:45:05 UTC Lollipop Cloud And with that our infra is 100%
The arm64v8 lollipop blew up building Plume as expected (it blew up on ALL our build boxes).
We would like to thank more than a few people here for all the support, help and amazing feels over the last ~72 hours.
We shall continue forth and work to improve accessibility for self-hosting.
We will be reporting our found "problems" and working with the upstream devs to sort out what has happened today.
If nothing else: our arm64v8 box is back. π -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Sunday, 09-Dec-2018 05:08:38 UTC Lollipop Cloud πΏ
We've successfully build @pinafore on our re-built arm64v8 lollipop.
All that is left is plume.

Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Sunday, 09-Dec-2018 02:48:19 UTC Lollipop Cloud The Pleroma stalled π€
The Plume build is running at the same time π€
This looks quite promising despite the stall. -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Sunday, 09-Dec-2018 01:42:15 UTC Lollipop Cloud Our build LAN is a set of lollipops.
We believe in the project so much we use it to run things...
Including ALL of our build related infrastructure . -

Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Saturday, 08-Dec-2018 22:19:24 UTC Lollipop Cloud The initial test builds are under way on the freshly re-built arm64v8 lollipop.
For those wondering about the screen cap, this is our little lollipop (the broken one) running a build of Watchtower and beating up the CPU and showing the new disk is working.
π€ 5 more tests and many many hours to go for the burn in and re-verification. -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Saturday, 08-Dec-2018 20:53:17 UTC Lollipop Cloud There is a benefit to a broken computer that needs to be rebuilt....
Upgrades are easier π
Our USB SSDs showed up right before we sat down to dig into the arm64v8 build lollipop situation.
Time to roll up our sleeves and get to work. -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Saturday, 08-Dec-2018 18:49:00 UTC Lollipop Cloud The download sync is still running...
On the positive side a new plugin was added to Caddy so we are going to investigate improving the updated download site.
(There is a mild quirk if you view the bare URL at present) -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Saturday, 08-Dec-2018 00:55:46 UTC Lollipop Cloud We have ~120Gb of data to migrate to Azure Blob Storage
@kemonine won't be able to use their internets for quite some time

Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Saturday, 08-Dec-2018 00:35:58 UTC Lollipop Cloud π£ YAY π£
Our Docker registry has *all* the arm docker images back online. BOTH arm32 and arm64
Our download zone is done minus armbian
We have begun the final phase of getting Plume docker images online so others don't have to fight rustc and some Docker quirks.

Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Saturday, 08-Dec-2018 00:32:29 UTC Lollipop Cloud The last 72 hours have been a whirlwind...
Thank you to everyone for the support.
We'll be preparing a blog post shortly. Short version:
- Plume builds are working, need publishing and some fine tuning for automation
- We blew up our arm64v8 lollipop (new one on order, old one will be checked for viability soon)
- A community member has gifted us an arm64v8 vps to finish up some Plume stuff
- Our server blew up due to lack of storage
- We are migrating to a new storage setup to better facilitate the future
- We have started a VPN kill switch setup that should help those who want VPN only access to the internet -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Friday, 07-Dec-2018 22:30:30 UTC Lollipop Cloud Thanks to a very kind human we have the downloads site back online!
https://dl.lollipopcloud.solutions/index.html
Its now backed by Azure blob storage. GPG keys, readme and Borg builds are online again. Our Armbian builds are uploading and will be available for download as each upload completes. -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Friday, 07-Dec-2018 17:58:00 UTC Lollipop Cloud π£Heads Up π£
We are working on a long term solution to our storage "problem".
We know the downloads area of the website where the Borg and Armbian builds is broken.
It will be back as soon as we can sort out a proper way to grant useful access to the files once they are uploaded to their new home. -
Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Friday, 07-Dec-2018 11:57:02 UTC Lollipop Cloud We are coming back online...
There was a hiccup with our storage and having 0 bytes free π’
For the moment our Armbian builds will not be available. We are working on moving them to a new server/storage.
In the mean time the rest of our offerings (chat, docker images, etc) will be coming online over the course of the next ~10-20 minutes.

Lollipop Cloud (cloud@ap.lollipopcloud.solutions)'s status on Wednesday, 05-Dec-2018 04:19:29 UTC Lollipop Cloud If you're coming from #Tumblr and looking for self-hosted options....
We have settled on Plume as our choice for federated blogs.
@kemonine has started initial Docker builds and testing.
It may take some time (their spoons/time are low overall) but the process has begun and the main devs have reached a consensus.
