I hiked early in the morning. It's nice to walk along the river.

I left home in the late afternoon and drove southeast for an hour. There is a lot of farmland in this area.

I have hiked a local mountain. This mountain is not high, but it is steep and has a great view. The downside is that there are many accidents.

Since the road is closed in winter, I parked my car by the lake and walked to the lodge, six kilometers away.
I put on crampons and headed up the mountain. I hiked up to the flat area above and saw the characteristic dome-shaped lava rocks of this mountain.

I woke up early and went to Lake Shikotsu. My destination was the oddly shaped mountain on the left side of the third picture.

Kingfisher. he was on the other side of the river, so I couldn't get any closer.
