Hey mastofriends! I’m currently using http://moa.party to crosspost from Mastodon to Twitter (yes, I want to keep my followers around there and help the ones who would like to migrate to Mastodon). But it’s not granular enough regarding options. I’d like to be able to post from here to Twitter with a hashtag for instance, or post only URLs of my toots on Twitter (adding a bit of friction to make it easier heee and more annoying on Twitter 😛). Can you recommend other crossposting tools?

Ha. So Youtube refuses any file uploaded through Safari for Mac, but if I try again with Chrome, any format is suddenly accepted. Another dark pattern to force users to use Chrome? Another attempt at adding too much friction with unwanted browsers? #darkpatterns #design #youtube #surveillancecapitalism

Right. I think mastodon.social was a good place to "start" and make sense of Mastodon. I want to switch to a smaller instance but I don't want to setup my own (yet). Any recommendations? I've looked at guides and recos online but I'd rather rely on you tooters. My fields of interest: #design #feminism #anthropocene #commons #decentralised
