It's International Day of the Disappeared
This is very sad.
The International Day of the Disappeared, on August 30 of each year, is a day created to draw attention to the fate of individuals imprisoned at places and under poor conditions unknown to their relatives and/or legal representatives.
Looking at you, too United States ...

My grandma turned 100 today.
Take 5 minuten to imagine what happened in her life in Germany in the last 100 years.
She was born in the last 100 days of world war 1.

On the 25th of August 1981 Voyager 2 spacecraft makes its closest approach to Saturn exactly eight years later (on the day!) in 1989 it makes its closest approach to Neptune, the second to last planet in the Solar System at the time.

So, I listened a bit of radio today and found out that we have 1391 #castles (the fortification kind called "Burg" in german, one to only live in would be "Schloss")
Only 60 of them are still visible for ordinary person/laymen. The rest only for professionals, them being burried.
