@optikfluffel tip: use packet's ARM machines to compile the latest version. It's like 1$/hour.
For some reason the official repo for raspbian is hella outdated ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@codesections modern javascript only adds a prettier syntax (let and =>), but it is still the same thing with es5 (and I think es3 too)
var fib = function(n) { return n < 2 ? n : fib(n - 1) + fib(n - 2) }
@julian LiveView solve some of the problems with frontend code. Have you tried it? What do you think about it?
There's also ElixirScript... Which I haven't tried, but looks cool.

@Jucar yo también necesito que me la traigan de argentina hasta brasil. Por eso no menosprecio ningún paquete
@Jucar de preferencia: rosamente. Pero nunca se niega un buen mate!

@Gargron morning!
Trying out pinafore (pinafore.mastodon.host)
Looks great so far!
@derek so fancy :thinkhappy:
@Gargron hurray! 🎇
@Gargron it might make sense to have on process coordinating work (the one who keeps the queue), and that process starts N childs, and they do the scraping for you, and send it back to the parent via messages (instead of using the same queue)
A few months in, still enjoying elixir daily :)
@h4kor the getting started guide is a darn good resource. It not only teaches you basics, but also how to make your system reliable to problems, and best practices to follow, and even interoperability with erlang and lots of tips.
