The big news this time is that there is finally a dedicated iPad interface, which is designed to use space a bit better, and allow more comfortable control.

In smaller updates, there is also now a switch to open all links in Safari, and if you long-press the action buttons on toots, you can perform them from different accounts.

This version adds support for lists, and pinning hashtags. You can switch lists using the header of the home screen, and pinned hashtags work similarly but on the instance tab. You add users to lists from the ... menu on their profile pages.

There are also a few small bugfixes.

This release mainly adds a sharing extension, and some tweaks to pasting.

What's new:

* Instances running Pleroma should now work again. You may need to remove and re-add the instance, or reinstall the app, to make sure everything goes back to normal.
* Zooming should work again on images now.

Also, currently all profits from Toot! are going towards vet’s bills for a guinea pig who is doing poorly but trying her best.

This isn’t a sales campaign or fundraiser, just a note that if you’ve bought Toot!, you’ve helped a cute little guinea pig.

Pleroma users should be aware that Pleroma has introduced breaking changes in their implementation of the Mastodon client API, which mean Toot! will no longer work at all with the latest version of Pleroma.

Pleroma is breaking some fundamental assumptions Toot! makes about IDs, and which can't easily be changed.

Toot! v1.2 is finally out! This took far longer than I had planned, but it is out!
