Yeah sex is great but have you ever been the first person to add a reaction emoji to a Discord/Slack message and then a bunch of people also use it, thereby validating the long, disparate string of life choices you made to bring you to that moment in time?

@alexander @Felthry Yeah, maybe I could’ve been clearer. But I got from the article that Facebook scans the content on-device then does some typical FB analysis of it.

If any flagged content is found on device, a readable copy is uploaded to FB for further processing.

Facebook Messenger still scans all messages, even with end-to-end encryption. Scanning is done locally on the device before text messages are sent and after received messages are decrypted.
