@Felthry @chartier To my understanding, comparing the content of your messages to arbitrary surveillance lists downloaded from Facebook. If you have used any "bad words", the entire message is uploaded to Facebook. So the end-to-end encryption is basically useless, because your own device will be monitoring you.

If any flagged content is found on device, a readable copy is uploaded to FB for further processing.
