@freemo I'd say the people with the strongest anti-gun opinions are the ones with the least knowledge.
Generally people with strong pro-gun opinions have them because they are knowledgeable about firearms.

Many schools in the past went even further than "gun safety" and had competitive shooting teams.

My uncle used to take his rifle to school and stash it in his locker so he could go hunting after school without going home first. A lot of kids did.

The less responsibility expected from kids, the less responsibility they're able to handle.

The Electoral College serves a valid purpose. Its shortcomings would be better remedied by eliminating political parties than eliminating the College itself.
