Look.
I just HATE cables with textile coating.
Cable coated in plain rubber get dirty, I can clean it with a damp cloth, and it's clean.
Textile coated cable picks up dust, it stays there.
Also it just gets ratty over time from rubbing against corners and such in a way that rubber/plastic doesn't.

Is it really so common for people to have to rotate USB-A plugs 3 times before it fits, or is it just a joke?
If you look at it first, you can see which way is up, either because of the logo (top) or the joint in the actual plug part (bottom)...
