Have you tried to tap on the date of a message in your timelines? #FedilabTips
And we only noticed now that @LineageOS joined #Mastodon 👍
We published #Fedilab 3.7.2 in beta. This version fully works with new filters from #Mastodon 4.
More details in media descriptions.
It's live on Google Play.
We are fully reworking the filter features.
#Mastodon 4 has introduced a lot of new endpoints through its API v2 for that.
We hope we will be able to offer you these features in the next #Fedilab release.
Thanks to a suggestion, we added the ability to discover instances (via their trending messages) before subscribing to an instance with #Fedilab.
To admins of an instance:
- Have you tried the translation feature?
We use #LibreTranslate that should be compatible.
Let us know how we can contribute to help you with your instance https://translate.fedilab.app
If you appreciate the app and our work, you can help us with donations on #Liberapay or #OpenCollective.
Thank you to all people that donated and to new ones. You really help Fedilab.
Liberapay: https://liberapay.com/tom79
OpenCollective: https://opencollective.com/fedilab
@opencollective allows to display contributors in git repositories.
We will do that tomorrow on our #Codeberg repo at https://codeberg.org/tom79/Fedilab
To polyglots, we added a feature in settings that allows to reduce the long list of languages when composing. You just have to check your preferred languages.
#Fedilab
You don't have to wait Mastodon 4 to use the edit feature with #Fedilab, it works with instances in 3.5.3
@opencollective joined Mastodon?
Our page with #opencollective https://opencollective.com/fedilab and thank you to people that support our work through OpenCollective 🙏
#Fedilab 3.6.0 has been published for all.
What's new since 3.5.0:
- Edit messages
- Pin/Unpin messages
- Set the default language for translations
- Change app icon
- Allow to disable "remember position" in timelines
- Icon on media previews if a description is available
It's live on Google.
To people that use the feature to follow Twitter accounts, the default instance "nitter.net" has a no valid certificate.
You have to set another domain in settings > Privacy > Twitter frontend domain.
You can check available domains here: https://github.com/xnaas/nitter-instances
Mastodon now supports the edition of messages (previously we had delete & redraft). We will add this feature in the next release.
We will also keep the old version for compatibility reasons with other softwares.
