@colegota I always run into a delay in the end and have too many seedlings around when it comes to seeding other plants than peppers or tomatoes in March. So I want to finish those works in February. Also every week counts when you want to pick up ripe pods. :)
Starting too early so that they will start flowering too early can have a negative effect. They might loose their blossom and you will encounter a delay until they start a new phase of building new blossom.

@colegota No, for the C. pubescens I’d prefer even seeding end of November. Regarding their long vegetation phase and that we might face night frost from September on. I put them outdoor at middle of May. Before there’s also night frost possible.
