Update re: #GDPR and #Mastodon. We have received additional resources, via @mala, thank you, directed at open source projects.

@nightpool is our lead on following up with these resources, and figuring out some more, and if we still have questions after that we will be getting additional help from @mala to reach out to some other people.

Hopefully this will yield results soon.

When I got hired as Project Manager for #Mastodon, it was very much a reaction to something.

I get that you probably don't care, and that's fine, but just consider that you're bringing a lot of noise over when you connect yourself with those kind of cross-posters. Maybe opt out of RT cross-posts if you can.

i now have more "followers" on mastodon than i ever did on twitter, but followers kind of cease to be so crucial, because the local and fed timelines are chill places to be and you don't need followers to participate in them
